Work VisaNov 27, 2019

If I am on H1B, what should be answer to "Will you need employment visa status" ?

I currently on H1B since Oct 2019 and I am looking to switch jobs now. As a standard procedure I get "Will you now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B Visa)?" question on every job position. What should I answer? The employer would have to do an H1B transfer and they do not have to file a new LC and go through the lottery. I am not looking for GC anyway. Is that a No? Thanks.

Is quitting so soon after obtaining visa cause for getting the visa revoked ?

🤔 I haven't heard of visa getting revoked.

H1b transfer is the same as a new h1b application except possibly that you don’t go through a lottery after the first time. The employer still needs to file an LCA.

Didn't know that! Thanks.
