If you are an interview candidate, then do not let companies play you like this

I just got rejected after a video call with a VP at C3.ai. It's kinda unprofessional to let your hopes up as they said I did well for the onsite and destroyed me after a casual conversation with the VP. There were some hiccups during the interview call as me being held up and arriving a bit late. After 3 postponements from them, I feel like I earned some leeway on my busy schedule.
I feel like he didn't spend any time querying my technical prowess, and yet decided that I wasn't technically strong enough.

The entire process from phone interview to the final VP call took about a span of almost 1 and half-month. Just from the onsite to the hiring calls it took 3-4 weeks. I personally feel like, you cannot let a candidate that did well on onsite spend 3-4 weeks for additional "behavioral" interviews.

I am just glad I had other offers to decide and move on, but I wanted to let you guys know about the process churn by them and cannot let companies play you like that.

"I feel like I earned some leeway on my busy schedule." WAT?
Shouldn't you be more prepared when you meet a VP? And you are just complaining the VP hasn't done the homework before meeting you. Are you applying for the CEO?

Probably rejected because you don’t know how to be brief but effective in communication. Sometimes less is more

I have done 7 onsites atm, I got 3 offers. C3.ai has been the first company that told me I had communication issues. I personally felt like there were other factors in play for my rejection.

Does C3 still make you interview with the CEO, even as entry level?

I don't see why there is a need for that mandatory step. When there is an explicit need of engineers as stated by them. They made me wait 3 weeks to talk to a C-level executive. I felt like they need to revisit their hiring processes.

Not sure what the emoji means. but its hilarious. Just my frustration of 1 and half months time spent for the interview felt like unprofessional
