If you became bored of your stack for being outdated or uninteresting, and you were given the chance to accept a new role in your dream stack, what stack/products would you want to work on?
This depends on what you're building. I wouldn't want to create an OS in something stupid. For full stack I'd go with Kotlin and Angular or React with typescript, with likely a relational DB of some flavour. For a desktop app I'd go with something else though I'm not sure what it would be. But the point is that what you're trying to achieve should dictate what language/stack you use.
Was meant to be what would you, personally, switch to. Like I would switch to Kotlin/Android. Curious what everyone would rather be doing. I hear “anything but Java” a lot haha.
Well if I could switch to anything I'd go with rust, Scala, or go since they tend to have the most TC and blind is all about TC.
