I've been making at least 10k a week from trading stocks since the beginning of the year consistently, sometimes a lot more than that. Would you quit your job if you made 10k a week working less a couple of hours a week?#tech #finance #stock #stockoptions #stockmarket #retirement #EDIT wow guys didn't realize I would get so many comments and DMs for help, I'll create a Twitter account and show you guys my trades and hope I can help and we can learn from each other EDIT: here is my twitter account I created to help https://twitter.com/HumbleEngTrader

Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
In my uninformed opinion the market this year has been doing well in some predictable sectors like tech making it easy to make quick wins. I don’t know if the situation would continue like this forever. Hence I wouldn’t advise making irreversible changes to your life based on your market experience from just this year.
Everyone's a genius during a bull market
Chicken gang?
This is the easiest market ever to make money in. I’m up 500k. When this current bull market ends/flattens you will have a hard time. Build your capital base to 2 million then quit
Did you buy stock of options?
Why build your capital base to $2m? And stop trading after that you mean amazon? Or get out of the market entirely?
Do that for 5 years you’ll be able to retire.
Or go entirely bankrupt... depending on the probability distribution (negative skewness, long tail)
Only if you already have 2m nw.
Why is 2M enough?
I would with that assumption. But I don’t think that assumption (avg 10k/week for years) is reasonable for most of us
More details on how you’ve accomplished this, please!
Exactly ... 10K a week ... I am guessing you need 200K of fun money principle and a bull market?
+1 what strategies did you use? What did you trade?
This stock market bubble is not sustainable. So....no, unless I have a few $M and have instruments in place to multiply on that sustainably.
10k*52= half way to a mil.
tax
I have made 4M in stock this year and I haven't quit my job.
Pictures or it didn’t happen. What is your starting capital and what stocks did you invest in?
Have about 18k shares of NFLX from ESOP. Don't care if you believe it or not.
OP is talking about day trading, and some of y’all are talking about bubbles and overall market macros lol OP, my friend quit last year. Currently making $30K a month after taxes. He’s doing great. If you can be consistent, and feel like a day job is holding you back.. Go for it 🤷🏼♀️
Day trading is 10x easier in a bull market
Since 1945, there have been maybe 14 bear markets -one about every 5.4 years.. Obviously it’s easier in a bull market and there’s significant risks due to downturns, but that’s like worrying about the housing market crash that everyone swears it’ll come real soon^TM. Day trading is a risk to begin with. If OP is consistent and has decent runway/bases I see no reason to discourage
hell yea
Thanks tsla 😍
