I was at a golf networking event with a bunch of startup and finance bros paying for me and some others. I've never golfed.

The whole time, I spoke good words, made people laugh, such cool wow, then take my turn and look like an absolute jackass.

I'm a fit and educated grown adult dude who hits golf balls like a toddler. I want to hit golf balls like a strong toddler with mental fortitude.

Some of you richy riches gotta know how to do this thing. Somebody please be a pal. Share the secrets. I'm on the peninsula.

  • I’ll tell you what, none of those bros know what they’re doing. They’re just weekend warriors. 98% of golfers can’t hit it right. So, you’re A-okay!!!

Source: I’m a + handicap and I have friends who play golf on the PGA Tour so I get to play with them.

    • Haha, Nah. I actually never hit balls with casual golfers. You’ll be amazed at how people try giving me unsolicited advice when I’m warming up on the range. It’s always funny when they tell me something I learned at age 10 and I’ve probably perfected that a million times over. I also know my game is good because I literally play with guys people see on tv all the time.

This game attracts lots of douchebags. In fact, you should never take jokes about your game seriously on the golf course. It’s just how most of those guys are. Good players won’t ever say a thing or try to give advice.

  • you can get some privates to work on your drive at a drive range?

also ask for drills on which muscle groups you need to improve for better swing
