Target audience is not USA. I would think borderline economies people could convert local currency to Libra.
Great idea and good for Bitcoin. Bad for third world dictators and their shit currency.
Global remittance industry will certainly take a hit.

Bad idea. Controlled and governed by Facebook only. It is better to adopt existing cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or Ethereum.
Not really governed by Facebook. They have a bunch of tech companies with equal votes to each.
Sounds like it is similar to the Federal Reserve model. However, having a bunch of tech companies not necessarily translate to a transparent or fair system.
