Hey community, asking this for a friend. So basically a friend of mine has applied for AMTS at Salesforce and wanted referrals, but when he is DMing someone, they are asking for his resume to be sent to an email, which contains PII and he would be identifiable on blind. So just wanted to know is it worth exposing yourself on blind to get the referral, like is the referral that much important? Simply putting, does referral just guarantee the interview or does it actually help during the whole selection process?

do you not have your name on your resume?
and do you really care if just one person identifies you for a while? send your resume and change ur username after that. Remember at most places, those automated mails which say "you have beem referred to work at xxx" also have the referers name, so they are giving up their anonymity as well
As far as your PII goes, lmao idgaf. Do you want the job or not? You decide.
