Does anybody have a easy breakdown of how much we can earn by posting videos on YouTube.
Ya there are a TON of videos on YouTube...
Seems like the way too do it is to have sponsors/Patreon
In terms of Adsense revenue, an easy way to estimate it is 1/3 of a penny per view. But you can eat a lot more depending on what topic you make videos on. Making videos that teach people how to make money tend to have a high CPM.
the key to YouTube is monetizing your audience elsewhere, like an online course or membership
Oh ya? Using a product like teachable I presume?
obviously biased but yea, typically you can generate between $1-$5/year*number of YT subscribers. a couple of hundred people paying $19/month is super doable with a 5 figure number of subscribers, or higher priced one-off courses or coaching products
If you have a good amount of followers you definitely want to lead them to your own platform/site. An E-commerce site for example in which you can sell items you promote. Either via Amazon referral links or drop ship items. Will be glad to help with any questions you may have.
