Incoming L6 amazon offer
I am expecting to receive an offer from Amazon for an L6 position. Two days ago the recruiter asked for some numbers that I was expecting the offer to meet and I provided some decently high numbers. Today he called me to give me an update, and he said that the number I provided where high, however, he is getting approval for them. He already has the approval from the hiring manager and is waiting on another one, and asked me to please be patient. Does all this sound legit?

Got the offer today. Offer let me know what your thoughts are, and where I should negotiate. Base 150/first-year bonus 81/second-year bonus 62/ RSU 120 shares.

Yes, but he wants you to be prepared to not be overwhelmed by the offer.
That was my gut feeling as well.
