I work part-time with a tech company as I finish my last year of college and have a full-time offer with them in software engineering after I'm done which will be the same job just more hours. It pays ~50% more hourly than now which I've negotiated up (this is not Capital One). Since I'm being valued at a much higher TC right now with this offer, would it make sense for me to ask to be paid the equivalent hourly rate of the higher salary starting now, as I work part-time, rather than getting paid the lower hourly rate until I graduate next May? Or is this greedy and too much to ask for?
Hourly rate should actually be higher than your salaried job because of unpredictability and possible lack of benefits.

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
It’s not greedy, but would be difficult for them to do. BUT it might increase your hourly pay. The thing is, they’re willing to pay u that FULL TIME when you finish ure degree. If you get a competing hourly wage at this time, you would be more easily able to get a bump
