Context: My goal is not to get a green card. My goal is to extend H1B for a few more years. I have 1.5 years left on my last H1B. I was leaving this year, sold assets, investments etc but got an extremely interesting FANG opportunity that will significantly elevate my position in India. My new employer is starting the eb2 green card process. I have Masters degree, but credentials not good enough for eb1. Question: Is there any advantage in getting letters for the maximum amount of credentials? Or do you just roll with the least amount of credentials needed for an i140? I guess I'm asking: if Masters degree and Masters+multiple experience letters get the same eb2, why not just apply with Masters? Is there any problem with getting an eb3 i140? Does lower-credentials-i140 trigger extra scrutiny during H1B renewal? I'm trying to reduce the effort in getting employment letters.
TC?
YOE and new TC?
Just get i-140. There's one kind of eb2 for indians where no one gets gc. No other kind exists.
To avoid RFEs which is pretty common these days
RFE on the i140 process!? Even with Google?
Yes, that's what I heard from the folks who went through the process recently
We are over saturated with foreigners. I’d prefer local jobs go to Americans with citizenship
I just looked up your company and your Founder and President are both Indian origin. You, of all people, should know we do create your so called "local jobs".
Yes,and the return of Indian labor is usually not as good as American labor. In rare instances you will find good, honest work from them.
