Recently saw a TikTok from an HR guy with access to comp data across industries, who said that many industries and jobs pay more than big tech. Vaguely mentioning something about military insurance paying in the millions.
Anyone with access to similar data can spill the beans what those industries are? Anecdotes are appreciated too!

I mean you aren’t providing proof, so it’s hard to take it seriously.
Tech companies seem to pay better from what I can see. Most companies won’t give you any stock unless your VP or above. They try to make up the difference in 401k matching but there’s a soft limit to that.
Basically IMO if a public company isn’t willing to give ICs stock, they probably don’t pay well to begin with
