So I applied to this position which is a Microsoft contractor role through Infosys. I haven't seen a single positive thing about infosys. But I won't be working at Infosys. It's a Microsoft long term contract. What do you think? How is infosys as a consultant? Facts: salary satisfies me. I want to move to Seattle area. I dont need sponsorship.
What’s the TC
Tmobile, you wear your emotions on your username 😂y so angry?
Low TC at Tmobile. Plus, they have to wear pink everyday.
Hey! It’s called Magenta!! 🤣
You think you will not be working for Infosys while infosys will run your payroll?
Yes that's what I'm trying to find out. How are things for consultants. From what I read I understood that the environment is not good at infosys if you work there. What abouts contractors?
Contractors are second class citizens everywhere including Infosys Having said that - how does it matter what others think of you. Do what’s best for you!
I'd say do it. And while you're at Microsoft, network hard. You'll find something better than Infosys in 6 months to a year. I did something similar with a no name contract company. It was my first tech job. DM me for details.
Yea, that's the plan. I just want to step in to league and want to make sure this is not an end instead of a start for me :)
No-name contract company doesn’t sign restrictive contracts with big companies while infosys does. Figure out before landing up there, wish you best.
If you don't need sponsorship, are you GC holder or citizen? If you can have security clearance then it is better to apply directly with Microsoft, I saw so many opening which require clearance. These positions are in general less competitive.
Yea, I can't get clearance yet other than public trust.
