All offers are final, all of the teams are great teams. Current TC: 200 Base 180 equity Instacart ( L6 ) : 220 Base, 270 equity, TC 490 Robinhood ( L3 ): 220 Base, 165 equity, TC 385 Square ( Level 6 ): 190 Base, 190 Equity, TC 380 EDIT: Chose Instacart - thanks, everyone! EDIT: Instacart doubled valuation, this was a good call.
Iβd go with Square. I didnβt join and regretted it. Fantastic people, doing great things for small to medium businesses, lots of opportunities to work on big things.
Can you share your interview experience? I have first round coming. What I am getting is that difficulty can range from easy to hard. So it's luck based.
Doesn't robinhood equity go up to 800k for L3?
Looks like it from Levels, but I didnβt smash the interview so I think that came into it.
RH is the way to go
Yoe?
6 years.
100k difference in equity per year, would take instacart unless you really believe RH >>>> IC Edit: Even at same comp, Iβd probably still take IC, I have strong faith in the ads business
Instacart and ads, what?
We show CPG ads within the app and make pretty good $$$ from them. One of the reasons we are profitable. Only getting started on that front, too.
Instacart is a no brainer especially if your offer is based on the 17.7B valuation
I think RH had better long term TC
RH for sure
don't leave!!
OP where you signing ? π€£
Yep! Starting ASAP! See you on the flip side.
Too late for the rocket ship with insta after that latest valuation and funding round. (39bn valuation now)
Equity is per year or over 4 years? And I assume itβs calculated at current valuation? Wow robinhood is really bullish on their growth.
Yep, the offer for instacart is before the comp structure change (4 year vesting, vs 1 year) with the 17bn valuation. And yeah, RH really didn't want to budge on equity.
I'm joining RH. Can you clarify what you mean by comp structure change? Also did they bump up the valuation to 17B from 11B?
