I’m wondering how expensive is a medical expenses in Singapore? When you join a big company in Singapore how good is the insurance? Does it cover a lot?

Almost all big companies provide basic insurance to get started. If it's expat relocation package usually company include a good insurance + coverage.
Medical expenses are high cost, but high quality. Insurances that are provided by companies in Singapore varies substantially, and is dependant on the company's choice of supplier. You should assess the policy provided against your personal circumstances.
