Hi ,
I am planning to switch from Intel to AMD . Both are in the Bay Area.
Current Yoe:2
Tc : 138k base
Bonus :15k yearly
Unvested rsu:65k/4
Grade : 6
Amd offer : 145k
Bonus :~20k yearly
RSUs : 80k/4
Level : L5
Amd offer looks better but they are trying to down level the position . Is it still okay to go with it. This down level is bothering me . Is there anything that I can do or ask about it . The recruiter stays adamant that he cannot do anything to the offer or the level . Please advice . Is it still a reasonable offer ??
Thanks
EDIT: not very happy with the kind of work at Intel and looking for a way out . Don’t want to be there in the current position and not doing the right kind of work .

After tax it’s probably 500$ here and there per month so if you like your current Intel team and work don’t bother
Change in Intel internally, learn more and then do a big move 2 years down the line
