Inter company Transfer Visa
Has anyone applied for inter company transfer for London? Is it easy to get a Tier 2 work visa to London? What’s the approval rate?

Completely depends on the position that you will be working in within the US. L-1s are generally less risky, but this is assuming that the role you will be working in meets the requirements of an L-1.

I transferred last year. Internally, from my company's US office to their UK office. No idea about approval rate but the visa is relatively simple to get as long as your employer prepares the documents properly. The process is fairly simple too. Takes less than a month
Did you have to go to a consulate or the company prepares everything?
The company will prepare everything assuming they have hired immigration attorneys. As the very last step you will have to go with your passport and supporting documents to a VFS application centre ( the company that is contacted by the British consulate) They will take your biometrics and return your passport back with the visa stamped
