I’m an intern at Uber and I’m making $44 an hour. Wondering what the intern comp is at other tech companies? Edit: Do you also get catered food?

Yeah, I thought getting $12 an hour was good back when I was an undergrad (summer '95)
House prices are ten times at the least compared to 95. Ppl coming out of college are getting underpaid compared to baby boomers adjusted to inflation and cost of living

8675. No, I'm in NYC. Amazon pays more in premium locations (Bay area and NYC). The non-premium locations are paid 7725 per month.

Intern compensation will be a drop in the bucket compared to what you'll be making later in your career. Also, interns work crazy hours at most companies. So your per hour rate goes down quite a bit across your 12-16 weeks.
Anything past 40 hours a week is eligible for overtime at Uber. It makes up for the long hours
Not at all. Interns don't do shit in general. And if they are working crazy hours, there's something wrong. Plus, intern compensation is huge compared to your career. You have low taxes, don't need to pay for housing, no 401k. They earn a lot more than entry level FTEs
