Intern at Lyft, LinkedIn, or Microsoft?

All 3 are frontend development positions for summer 2018. Lyft (SF), LinkedIn (Sunnyvale), Microsoft (Redmond)

I think you need to import about 150 packages to do comparison now for frontend work.

do you realize how good Microsoft treat their interns? Heck you fuck other interns all summer while getting paid top bucks with a huge bunch of party and gift and almost 0 workload

Microsoft Foobarfoob Feb 27, 2018

Did you fuck other interns as an intern?

Clearly I took too much interest in my work Or maybe I’m ugly

LinkedIn takes their interns to Disneyland but I would rather be in SF as an intern

Amazon Puoahahdja Feb 27, 2018

Eh they do it for a day and they make you take an overnight bus coming and going. Lot worse than it sounded tbh

LinkedIn krsone Feb 27, 2018

You should also consider what will happen after. Which is the one you would work for full time? I think LinkedIn will almost certainly pay more than Microsoft for a full time offer. Lyft may offer you a bunch of pre-IPO stock, but there's risk with that. With both LinkedIn and Microsoft you will get paid in MSFT shares, but you'll get way more shares at LinkedIn.

I like how people think that you'll get rich once join Lyft. No, you are not going to be rich! But Lyft is a great company to work for.
