@tdameritrade I recently was told by a hiring manager that this company has a secret do not hire memo that’s sent out to hiring managers with a list of people not to hire for internal roles.
I am on that list, I’ve never had a bad performance review, I have not had any sort of disciplinary action taken against me, I was added after being the victim of sexual harassment. Other people I saw on the lists were similarly women who were victims of sexual harassment or participated in an investigation.
This feels wrong in every possible way, do other companies participate in this practice? Seems dangerous to put out internal emails with lists of names of people who in an official capacity are solid candidates, but in secret are blackballed due to protected actions like being the victim of harassment or general personality clashes with someone powerful enough to make the list #discrimination #HR #people #finance

If they have a list like this, how much do you want to bet they have a culture that allows sexual harassment?
