Hardware Folks working at Apple, Nvidia and Arm can you please help my nephew with a internship question. He has offers from all three for 12 weeks. Apple at Austin TX GPU Design team, Methodology Technology Tech enablement design intern 45/hr, Relo 1000. Arm at Austin TX Subsystems team, RTL verification intern 37/hr, no relo. Nvidia at Santa Clara CA GPU team, Physical Design intern 57/hr, relo 2000 Which one will get him the best experience?
Enablement, verification vs design. Even if it's still grunt work in design, it sounds front and center. Assumption is tx is homebase, get out here to bay area. Great place to intern, live in the city with a half dozen other people, work hard during the week and play hard on the weekend.
Nvidia They get to go to a "special party" which is well worth it
At Jensen's place

Nvidia. Apple sounds like a support role for the design community at Apple. In other words, CAD team. RTL Verification is a dead-end job IMHO. 2nd class citizens. Nvidia should give him the best experience in terms of learning the RTL-GDS flow (front-back flow).
Physical design is grunt work.
