I'm planning on interviewing with other firms and one of them has asked me to provide dates for interviews. It also happens that my spouse and I are pregnant. If I stay at my current firm, I will qualify for parental leave. I am not sure if I can qualify for parental leave upon joining a new firm. Since I have not landed the offer, not sure if I can ask about parental leave policy of new firm (i.e.) how soon I can use it. What would you do? #engineering .
Update: I work in one of the FAANG companies, but not Amazon.

I joined Google recently and they were completely OK with me taking leave soon after joining. Other companies I got offers from were also fine with it.
