Interview Qs for FB and G ASIC postions
Got an interview coming up with FB and G for ASIC design positions. Can anyone from hardware teams at FB and G give some idea on the kind of questions asked during interview? Which scripting languge is preferred? Any prep tips? @Google @Facebook

Yes, of course. But was wondering whether they expect the candidate to also clear sw coding interview since these are predominantly sw companies?
No. The interview is done by hardware folks. More typical to other traditional interviews vs like typical software company interviews. There is a software coding round but again your field specific questions vs leet code.
Questions on hardware design. Also hardware verification.
Do they ask verification questions for design role?
Yes. Not deep UVM but you kinda have to know verif strategy
Have you interviewed recently with G or FB?
Expect interviewers from diverse background. So prepare for a broad set of questions
