Interviewing at Uber
I am actively interviewing and would like to apply to more than one positions at Uber ( if possible)...Is there any policy which prevents it? Thanks..!!
No policy prevents you , apply any number of positions any number of times
They don't like it. I interviewed for two positions at once (I was already contracting there and so got the interviews by hearing about the openings then talking to HM) and the recruiters were not happy. I was offered both roles, but they told me repeatedly they don't usually allow people to interview for two roles at once. The only reason they didn't catch that I was doing it was that I didn't apply via the job site. You should totally try though, gives you more leverage. Good luck!
I applied to Frontend and Backend at the same time and talked to the recruiter about choosing one on the phone.
There is a coordination between teams. I interviewed for one team but joined another one.
Some drivers work at Uber and Lyft at the same time. Should be fine I guess
Lol - exactly what happened when I was at uber , I used to tell the Uber drivers that I work at uber and they used to ask , when do you drive and I have to tell I am in Corp hq and they say oh they have engineers too ;) not one everyone said the same .
