About me: I have been working at Intel Massachusetts in DV for 3 and a half years. I am looking for new opportunities currently, and I have been getting contacted on LinkedIn by some recruiters from TSMC and Qualcomm. My preferred companies are NVIDIA/Apple/Google/Microsoft/FB. My question is: is it worth getting back to the recruiters? Assuming I can clear the interviews, would it be a good idea to join any of these 2 companies? I personally find the interview process a bit time consuming, especially the onsite round where I need to set aside 5-6 hours on a work day. So is it worth going for these interviews? PS: Any referrals for NVIDIA/Apple/Google/Microsoft/FB would be highly welcome #dv #hardware #interview #semiconductor #intel #qualcomm #tsmc
Qualcomm interview loop is pretty good interview prep for your preferred companies. And you’ll need competing offers to get that new top $ TC anyway. So worth it IMO.

Fired without warning, no severance. Top performer.
previously was at Q in SD and WLB was pretty rough. Base is decent and stock options were good at the time- might be better now. team environment/culture varied on a per lab basis. It’s a hit or miss.
