Intuit corporate strategy team

Thoughts on joining the Intuit corporate strategy team ? I found a number of blind posts saying Intuit Tech teams are political and toxic. Is that true for the corporate strategy team too? Any insights on the culture/WLB in the Corp Strat team?

Intuit is highly political .. no org is immune to it . Corp strategy team is heavily threatened by consulting companies. We have a stretched out team; most work is delivered by 3rd party companies .

It's a small team, seems to be OK and well functioning. Bear in mind that Intuit rarely if ever invests money into companies, so the work may be less interesting than in other places, focused only on M&A.

Cult like at times. The people who do well are good at politics and backstabbing. Like the guy who smiles, acts friendly, but will use everything you say against you.

From personal experience, "highly political", "Intuit rarely invests money into companies", "focused only on M&A", "threatened by consulting companies" is all a load of bullshit. I'm almost certain you have next to no experience liaising with the team. It's a great team. It is often recognized as such by the business units and the Board. The value add is far beyond M&A. They are the people that write Intuit's high strategy and the team is currently poised to do amazing things with the aggressive agenda set by the CEO.
