Go woke, go broke: Google fires 28 employees involved in pro-Hamas protest
Engineering manager Intuit TC > FB Current TC: 240k
If it's Eng manager at both companies, then definitely FB. Much better brand value in your resume.
Also much better personal growth and selection of teams.
Intuit is all about resting and vesting for manager, if you are going to be part of SBG or turbo tax
Fb far better for career but go anywhere but ca.
FB. Don’t come here, bro. Especially if you’re under 40
Best I can say is that it's... Odd.
Care to elaborate?
Too many small things. Really REALLY hard stratification between about Director and VP. Lots of Kool aid. Inability to move fast. Perception that this is the greatest place ever. One odd thing is the sheer amount of people with 10-15+ years at the same place. Just almost odd. Hard to explain. Under pay but try to convince everyone that they pay at top of category. Get some coaching for areas to improve (not pip... Not even supposed to be "formal") and they will hold it over your head for years as an excuse to not give raises or bonuses or rsu's etc
FB pays the same in any location within US. So move to Seattle, get +30% effective bump and FB brand on resume.
Lol
30% is a bit much. More like 15%
