I max my ESPP and 401k. I don't plan to stay in the USA for long, maybe 2-3 years max. I like investments that don't need too much input from me. What are my options?

Good starting option,but eventually cheaper and arguably easier to do it yourself. My money automatically gets invested into a total US stock market fund and a total international stock market fund through Schwab for free (I just have to pay the fees on the funds themselves).
Long term invest in your home country. Buy growth stocks in the US with a 2-3 year horizon. Switch companies once to get a fat joining bonus and pay bump.

It depends on what country you are from and whether your country has as tax treaty with the US. Many Western countries do and recognize 401k/IRA as tax protected under their treaty with the US. If your country does then those are obvious choices.
