Hi I had 2 questions - 1. What are some good mutual funds to invest your 401k in? 2. How can I check my overall profit in 401k since I started investing. Fidelity is my broker
Fidelity usually will break out your P&L in their online reporting via the NetBenefits site. You shouldn't really pay too much attention to your balance if you're young because it's a long term investment and not worth sweating over shorter term moves.
Invest in target retirement funds, they are low cost and pretty good diversification.
Do not listen to mkay. The returns on life path target date funds are abominable. How the hell do you manage a 2018 YTD return of 2.13% in this bull market? You’re better off with index ETFs like VTSAX.
++ invest in index funds not target date. I have vang s & p 500 idx tr.
Yo Nadella, that's because target funds have diversified into foreign equities. You of all should know that considering you recently sold shit ton of Msft stocks to diversify your portfolio
401ks were for another generation. Unless you can play with company money through company match, there are better investment vehicles out there.
Buy real estate and rent out? Or there's anything else?
Thats my strat. Free equity and passive income with cheap interest, what’s not to like?
There is a tab called customer care click the chat options and paste these two questions there ...
