I have about 100K cash. I want to invest this money, but it is not enough for a real estate in SV and I have quite a lot of tech stocks (some public, some paper) and index funds (401k, wealthfront). Stock seems too high anyway.
20s single. No house, no debt, no depedent, no obligations. At least 70K can be safely invested, even considering some need of cushion. What should invest in? Should I wait until I make more money and become rich enough to pay down payment in the valley?

Are you a financial genius who can see what nobody else can see with the little time you dedicate to research? No, you're not, so don't fall into that trap.
After maxing out the 401k and IRAs, put it in a vanguard ETF, with the risk profile (more stocks vs more bonds) that you want and forget about it.
- Invest your Roth IRA funds in the riskier, individual growth stocks (because you will not be taxed on the earnings).
- Invest the rest in an individual brokerage account. Buy more conservative individual stocks, or invest in index funds.
AMZN and NFLX are insane, but FB and GOOG are way better. Their forward PE ratios are 92, 137, 26 and 20 respectively. Still, I wouldn't short any of these stocks.
Lucky I shorted SNAP at $28 average!
