I'd like to get some opinions on my current investing strategy. I want to play low risk and grow slowly but steadily. That said, here is what I have: Fidelity - 401k - maxed out Vanguard - VFFVX (Vanguard Target Retirement 2055 Fund) - $1.000 every month Vanguard - VTI - (VANGUARD TOTAL STOCK MARKET INDEX ADMIRAL CL) - $500 every month Vanguard - VOO - (VANGUARD S&P 500 INDEX ETF) - $500 every here and then (no auto invest possible, I manually put some money in here every other month) I don't qualify for a Roth IRA. How do you guys handle that? #personalfinance #investments TC 250k
Why VTI and VOO both? Go 90/10 or 80/20 vti and vxus for better diversification.
Fun fact : some of the index funds that crashed in early 2000s broke even just this year. Basically it took 20 years.
Are you familiar with diversified pools just like index funds? They’ve got low risks and ROI can get to over +1000%.
Not that familiar. Can you mention a few examples?
Like the binance pool. When trade or investing on the pool you gather good hashrates. you know, binance makes use of a sha 256 algorithm that protects the users capital while they gather hash’s
Do a backdoor Roth IRA. Amazon also has mega backdoor Roth 401k. Do that too. Also do HSA if you are on a HDHP.
Heard backdoor is Going away soon 😭😭😭 https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/29/what-to-do-if-democrats-ax-the-backdoor-roth-ira-strategy.html
Hasn’t passed.
