- Nvidia and AMD look promising with high demand for GPU's
- Facebook will have continued growth
- Health care indexes have outperformed the market in the past 5 years
- The energy sector looks disappointing due to the decrease in oil prices

As auditors, there are several restrictions in where we can invest. Taking that into account:

1. What stocks or indexes/etf's do you invest in? 2. How have they performed?
3. What brokerages or apps do you use?

How do you navigate the challenges of maintaining independence while still actively investing

    • Just avoid your clients and past clients. It doesn't have to be all the clients of your firm. So for deloitte, unless you're on the team, you can have shares of Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks etc

You can make use of CES to see what entities are restricted. Leverage the independence office as well.

  • don't have a watch list...I scan the news 30 min before market opens...narrow at most 5 watch lists...check against independence...trade the first 1 hr after market opens, close my positions and go to work..

  • not good...up almost 50% for the past 6mo, but have put almost 100hrs into it. I bet if I spent 100hrs researching individual companies I could have done better than that...anyways it's fun ..kinda like morning glory
