How do FAANG folks see a candidate with a few years of experience at Bloomberg? Does experience at Bloomberg help you to build skills to work at FAANGs comfortably?
I wouldn’t look at the company so much as your technical skills and accomplishments. Plus, (and I might be biased here 😂) Bloomberg is just fake news anyway.
Bloomberg is as fake as the headphone jack on iphones
Soooo....you’re butthurt about the headphone jack. That’s fine. But what you wrote here makes absolutely no sense. There is no headphone jack on new iPhones - does that make it fake or not?
Well most of the engineers at Apple are working on crap and shit to be honest. I had an offer and I declined coz only few teams at Apple work on cool stuff :)
I just started at BB. If u can get into a good team then it's worth it. Lots of cool initiatives are being done to re-write applications. You will not get the scale like u do at FB Amazon though
Probably fine, lots of people exit to a FAANG. Lots of people stay too cuz they end up liking it.
What's the TC?
How are yearly hikes and bonuses?
TC for IC can go up to 300k+ and for TL 350k+
Yearly hikes and bonuses are 7-15%
+1 passed two technical screenings and going for on-site soon
