Would it be weird for non-indians to join? Is the culture pretty mixed? I feel like I've mostly met only indian cognizant employees and I wasn't sure if it was geared towards a specific culture.
Yes, Cognizant is Indian company with huge development centers across multiple Indian cities. Though they boast about they headquartered in the US but they are just like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL.
I would assume yes, haven’t worked in Cognizant but worked for Infosys which was 99% Indians coming via H1 or L1 visas, they’re only trying to hire local people due to the new restrictions on bringing in more visa people.
All of WITCH and Oracle and Cisco are all Indian companies. I would never work in such a company. P.S. I am an Indian

Very Indian. But they are focusing heavily in diversity and inclusion, so it really depends on what route and what level you're joining the company. Some departments are predominantly Indian and others are the exact opposite.
