Is Doordash the next Yelp?
Small businesses hate both of these companies. There’s nothing proprietary about their tech. (E.g. Google is making Yelp obsolete) What am I missing? Where do they go from here?

Doordash makes as much money as Yelp does but is work 30x more
Copying successful logistics ain’t easy. If you dumb it down - sure - anybody can create an online store so Amazon.com is the next Yelp too 🤷♂️
Key difference being that customers love Amazon. I can’t think of any major successful businesses that are hated by their customers
If customers hate it - why does it have 50% market share, it grew so much during the pandemic and in the last two years it leaped above Uber eats and seamless for example ? Also a big chunk of the services are behind the scene - like drive for example. There will always be some scrutiny but I don’t feel it’s any different from any company that’s number one in it’s field (Apple , Amazon , fb , Uber come to mind as examples)

I swear if it didn’t pop up so easily on google searches - they would be dead in the waters (to my perception)
