I am a certified Azure solutions architect and wanted to get some feedback specifically with respect to the cloud division and to know if it’s worth considering, coming from an Azure background. - benefits - compensation - work (not WLB, I know WLB is great) - culture YOE:14 TC: 132k
No cloud. No work. Good wlb. No PIPs. But layoffs
Only thing good here is WLB

IBM Cloud is broad, what group?
It’s for a Lead Application architect-Azure cloud for IBM Global Services. I don’t know if that is a division
This is GBS, which is an SI org competing with Accenture, not IBM Cloud. I’m in GBS. Avoid GBS at all costs.
I have no clue yet what role Azure architect would play there since IBM has its own cloud plus now there’s open shift as well.
I interviewed last week for the same position. The team seemed pretty nice and professional. Did you get an offer? What is the TC? West or East?
I have an interview this week. It’s for west. Did they make an offer to you?
Even Oracle figured out how to build cloud but not IBM. I'd go there if they realize that they just need to clone AWS and start stealing AWS engineers with 2x pay bump
Think about it, it’s really just SoftLayer 😂
