Is India heading for civil war?
I was with some Indian friends of mine yesterday and they started discussing about some Indian politics. They mentioned that the internal political situation is getting worse and that the current government policies of disenfranchising minorities and low caste communities can lead to civil war (something to the effect that they can only take it for so long). I Googled Indian news and this is being talked about by some prominent Indian politicians as well (along with the news about many lynching of minorities and low caste ppl). I thought Indians were quite civilized and non violent people. What am I missing?

there is a lot of communal hatred between Muslims and Hindus as well as lower castes and the rest of society in India...as much as the Christian church asks to love thy enemy does not make all Christians lovely people it is the same with inherently non violent Hindus! Things are being exaggerated by media, things are the same as they were. If anything the new government had done a lot of good for common people They have done some tough reforms which the opposition leaders cannot digest I see India doing good for next 10-20 yrs

This civil war thingy is ratcheted up by Trinamool Congress party and Congress party since India has identified more than 4 million illegal Bangladeshi Muslims who infiltrated India and voting only those parties who are supporting illegal infiltration. If you take the case of US, forget about third world country, and ask people in US to prove that they are citizens of this country, it will be very hard for some (as some child births are by midwives and many Amish don’t apply with county office). In third world, its almost impossible for a lot of people to bring forward a proof. So is this a tool to victimize a section?
No no section is being marginalized. Not only illegal Muslims but also illegal Bangladeshi Hindus raw being identified and deported. So all this bs regarding ONLY Muslims being marginalized is crap.
