Link posted earlier, but no focus on 18% DECLINE in LA/OC mortgage applications. Not familiar w those markets but looks like a LOT of inventory. Are they the first shoe to drop?

      same reason why people gamble their stocks instead of just holding. people think they can get a new place at a lower price easily

      Google, the reason people need to sell is this: when they were renting they were fine in a 2 bedroom condo. But when they bought they went for a 5 bedroom 3 bath palace because their friends told them to leverage mortgage money, so they would earn more when prices go up. Most did not consider a crash. If they don’t sell on time, it becomes a problem.
