Is Microsoft putting a hold on job applications for the next few months?

I had a call with a MSFT recruiter today for a UXR role and asked this question. He said no, hiring demand now is even hotter than this time last year. Expect all interviews to be virtual, but they are still hiring.

Aren't you only able to apply for a job once a year?
That’s not true. You can apply as much as you want. I’m not sure if there are any restrictions around number of interview loops you can have in a year.
