Bro imagine having everybody be forced to get used to working from home for 2 years, seeing people getting closer to their kids and spouses, and then trying to rip that away from them for no discernible reason.
Probably because they think they get more productivity out of employees in the office. The truth? We work way more WFH, everyone is online all the time. The work-life hygiene has been disguising, people stay on far later than they should.
Seems to me that these boomers in leadership positions are having trouble justifying their roles now that they can't easily take credit for everything anymore
It will organically happen with leadership, and then the rest will follow.

Props to the companies ending leases and letting employees work from home! I’m exhausted of return to office talk, the pandemic for me has been all about remote work! Let those of us that want to work from home stay at home! Employees that want to return to office can do so if they want (which they don’t because apple already has offices opened but those employees complaining about returning don’t even go)
Yes we are returning back to the office. You are delusional if you think otherwise. Everyone will be given a cubicle. We will return like good employees like in good ol days. Just that instead of watercooler/ hallway conversations we will use Teams to talk to each other virtually from our cubicles in our wonderful office. Social distancing everyone!
