Is Target India hiring for backend devs?

I am looking for a job switch and actively applying but only for remote roles. I applied at Target couple of weeks ago for few roles through referral but my resume wasn’t shortlisted even though it matched with the requirements well. Someone told me there isn't much hiring going on there. But I am frequently seeing new job postings coming up from Target every other day on LinkedIn. So wanted to get insights about the same?
