TC? depends on current TC and potential TC at Google. I've seen really high TC for sales at G here on Blind but most of the time entry level sales TC is a step back for engineers
Like how much you think? Less than 100k?
In general 100k TC is top end for entry level sales. That number can grow quickly but with 3 YOE I would not take an entry level role. Leverage your experience into a position as a sales engineer or account executive/manager.
Yes
I wonder if it’s worth it. Compared to Software Engineering
No. Leetcode your way out then.
I received an offer for an entry level sales position at GCP. Turned it down because total TC was 90k in mountain view. I almost laughed at the hiring manager IBM pays entry level sales people more than that 😂
Damn that’s incredibly low... is it worth the career growth tho?
Is the IBM split still 50k base and 50k bonus? Do people actually hit that TC year 1? Also how is TC growth in yr 2 and beyond?

28 terrorist worshipping idiots just got themselves fired and I've never been prouder to work at Google.
I've seen entry level sales postings for Google with the title Associate Account Strategist. Usually Asscoiate Account Manager is also entry level
Is it worth it oracle? To give up engineering all together? I’m about to throw in the towel
