Is attrition really that bad at AWS?

I see so many posts on blind talking about mass exodus at AWS but AWS continues to release so many new features and services. How are they able to do it? Situation is not as bad it looks? Is blind exaggerating? If that's the case then the news about pay raises can be put to rest.

    Yes, attrition is bad, but there's plenty of lazy bast*rds who aren't willing to interview externally, or stuck on visa, so Amazon still holds the leash on a major part of its population
