I have had a few reviews removed. No reason given, just that it violates some guidelines, with no way to correct the review. I am deleting my glassdoor account.
Booo hooo hooo welcome to real life
What did your reviews say?
Companies can always pay Glassdoor to delete negative reviews. Happened with yelp , zomato
So you gave your CURRENT employer a bad review? My god, go work for a company that you like. It’s not like there is a shortage of jobs out there. Also Libel can be illegal, and is certainly grounds for termination. It’s unfortunate people forget about this in our “hide behind an anonymous username and complain about everything” world we live in now.
definition says libel is a false statement. li·bel /ˈlībəl/ noun 1. LAW a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.
Take some deep breaths buddy
Had exactly same issue. Found out that company’s HR was flagging negative reviews and Glassdoor’s algo picked that up and removed. I’ve deleted my account too
Glassdoor is garbage and a disgrace and the reason why I’m underpaid. Let them delete that.
You are not allowed to leave more than one review per year per company, to avoid ballot stuffing. If they detect that based on your IP address they may delete the review. We don’t let employers pay to delete reviews, as that would compromise the integrity of our entire product and our mission. Employers can pay to remove advertising from their company page and to sponsor jobs.
How is Coupang ?
