It's that time of the year! Did you come out of Forte smelling like a rose and then was made to feel like a criminal on devplan the week after? Share your stories here and most of all stay strong, don't leave without getting that severance package. Good luck folks.
How do you pass Forte and still get PIP’d. That is just whack...
Because Forte doesn't matter. Also, isn't it some Ivy shit now?
So your performance review doesn’t matter? If you get great ratings and then get put on a devplan, can you go to Hr and be like wtf?
Forte is not performance review
According to NBC: “Forte asks for "super powers" While employees are somewhat skeptical about Connections, they are more positive about Forte, a new annual review system put in place early last year. One person described Forte as a much more positive process compared with the prior review system, focusing less on shortcomings and more on strengths to help reach one's goals for the next 12 months.”
What is Forte?
Forte/Coaching/Pivot.... what are all these Amazon bs?
Managers would fish around for negative feedbacks on their own team members, then pick a couple of them for coaching/devlist and eventually Pivot/PIP one. So to make people feel better they come up with Forte where you say positive things about each other. Every has to be about Leadership Principles though so you can't just say anything you want.
