I was recently let go by a new start up (Seed Stage) because I was trying to implement processes and procedures that would help the brand scale.
Since then, two of their C Level executives have reached out to me on two different occasions to offer me an interview with companies they are invested in. I find this to be a very odd gesture, but am I reading into this too much.
In my separation they mentioned that my strategy was not a culture fit for them, so why would it be a fit for two companies they have a vested interest in? These gestures make it so confusing to me, but am I just reading too far into it, and is this really a good will gesture to help me land my new next role?
Has anyone ever experienced this in the start up world?
