Is it good idea to ask interviewer about preparation for tech interviews?

Hi, I have onsite scheduled at Amazon. Today one of my interviewer accepted my LinkedIn invitation. Should I ask him any last minute tips to succeed in interview? I will not tell him that he is going to interview me, but I think he should know it, right? TC : 120k #leetcode

Don’t want stalkers on my team. TC or GTFO

Is it okay to send LinkedIn request?

I don’t think so. Not until you sign offer or at least complete the interview with good impression

Creepy. Why do they even share interviewer names?

No, don’t. It’s ok to view their profile to get an idea of questions to ask but it ends there.

Thank you for humble reply. I am in much pressure. I want to work in Amazon badly. Let’s see how it goes.

Nooo. What you do is find people from your alma mater who went to the company and ask them for a quick call (of coffee paid by you if you’re close) about their experiences at their company and how they got there. I’ve happily connected and chatted with people from my college. Sending a LI request to your interviewer before meeting them (and they offer to connect) is already borderline creepy.

Never message someone on linkedin unless there's no option of an email. Second, Amazon always (ALWAYS) schedules a prep call before the onsite, with the HR, where you can ask any questions you want. HR by herself told me which LP I should focus more and which interviews will be focused on what, such as LP, Python, DynamoDB, Redshift, SQL, Case Study
