I got rejected by the same company too many times in the past two months and started to wonder whether it's me or just bad luck. Amazon, interviewed with 3 different teams, got rejected by all 3. Microsoft, interviewed with 4 different teams, got rejected by all 4. Facebook, interviewed with 3 different teams, got rejected by all 3. Spoke with HM, future colleagues but never made it to onsite. The feedback is always, "there are more qualified candidates in the queue." Is this normal or I am just not good enough for the position?
Did you have 3/4 onsites with each company
All got rejected before onsite.
But still there is a wait period of 1 year atleast
What sort of position is this?
Itâs amazing that you got so many interviews which gave you so much feedback for improvement. I would use those for my next interview. Also I would ask them for honest feedback so that I can work on that. Good luck !
What positions are they for? How are you self evaluating your candidacy after these interviews? Are they behavorial, technical or both in nature? Are you doing something different and improving each time or are you winging it?
Microsoft and Amazon are mix of both behavioral and technical. Spoke with hiring manager then another call with future colleagues. Facebook is 100% technical.
You didnt answer the rest of my question.
Sounds like you interviewed too much in a short period of time, so you didn't have much time to improve from each fail
True, I'm too afraid to miss out on the opportunity so I applied to all of them.
Also I am wondering how you managed to have multiple interviews with same company. ( I was told that they would freeze us from applying for next fees months or a year). How much gap did you have in between interviews?
May be you are cut out for Google! Go do it.
Sometimes youâre just unlucky. Iâve failed multiple interviews at the same company before.
It's always bad luck! You just need 1 good interview. That said, this is a good time to work on things you feel you can improve on. Chin up, you'll do great in your next interview

If there are more qualified candidates, then you arenât good enough.
