Is it needed to tell current salary in India?
Hello All, I have really basic but important one question. Is it mandatory to tell current salary details for new job? I have applied for two companies ( Intel & Nvidia ) and Hr is asking for current salary to offer new job . Any suggestions will be helpful, thanks

Just say, your previous company doesn’t allow you to disclose it and anyway you care more about how much they think your skills are worth. Ask them to make an offer based on your experience and skill set.

Tell them your expectations. No need to tell current TC.
No dont tell them anything. Just tell them you can discuss when the team is ready to make an offer
They are ready to make an offer but before sending first offer... they are asking for my current salary details and proof.
Yeah sadly they ask for it
