My friend works in accenture. He is pretty talented. He keeps on building personal project and all with all the latest tech.He was earlier in kolkata so didn't have much guidance there.he now wants to change to a good product based company.but would any product based company hire him ? If possible how should he prepare ?
In my opinion using latest tech is overrated. Concentrate on the basics ds, algo read distributed systems papers or go in depth with c++/go and contribute to their standard libraries.
Why go?
Because go is a new language and it is easy to contribute there right now
Yes he is very hard working and studying really hard now but my doubt is would recruiter shortlist his resume ? Is there any guidelines that can help in that ?
Get a good rank on Google Kickstarter, I was contscted through them the first time
Sounds like you are asking for yourself! Ask your friend to post on blind :)! And guidance for getting your profile shortlisted is a broader topic

What type of Hindu are you?
Ask him to leetcode and you refer him to Microsoft with strong feedback.
Would microsoft consider applicant from accenture ?
Yes. And Accenture is a company like any other companies. Infact I know many who never went to a college and end up being at many product based company. Recently one of my friends from cognizant got an interview from Amazon.
